11.1 Overview
This appendix provides information about data in CAMS that may need specific handling for some users.
11.2 Tilefish Landings in North Carolina
Blueline and Golden Tilefish landings in North Carolina are managed by the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council (SAFMC). For stock assessment and quota monitoring, tilefish caught in statistical areas 631, 632, 633, 634, and 639 then landed in North Carolina are excluded from landed totals. Users summing all tilefish landed in Northeast and Mid-Atlantic statistical areas may find catch totals that are different from stock assessment and quota monitoring values.
